Mean Old Tom's Half and Half
Posted by Wine Gourmet on
Did you ever have a chocolate orange as a child? This cocktail is slightly reminiscent of the citrus chocolatey goodness. Maine Beer Company’s Mean Old Tom Stout features notes of coffee, dark chocolate, and aged vanilla beans with a silky mouthfeel while Bell's Oberon features citrus aromas. While mixing two beers seems too simple to call a cocktail, this mix is perfect for summer!
YIELD: 1 16oz beverage ACTIVE TIME: 2 minutes
Ingredients
- 8oz Bell's Oberon
- 8oz Maine Beer Company's Mean Old Tom Stout
Instructions:
- First pour in the Bell's Oberon carefully into the glass to avoid any head on the beer.
- Pour Maine Beer Company's Mean Old Tom Stout gently over the backside of a spoon on top of the Bell's Oberon within the glass. This avoids too much agitation of the beers.
