Tasting Notes:

Earned Run Ale
Earned Run Ale, or ERA, is the official Devils Backbone beer of baseball! This golden pale ale was brewed just to be enjoyed during those lazy summer evenings at the park. The finest pale ale malts allow the bright and citrusy Amarillo and Citra hops to shine. It’s the perfect beer to enjoy at the ‘ol ball game in the nation’s capital!

Brut IPA
Champagne and IPAs. You’d think these two libations would have nothing to do with each other, but we thought we’d join ‘em in hoppy matrimony. Brut IPA is very light bodied with a clean, dry palate thanks to lively citrus and white grape notes from Amarillo and Hallertau Blanc hops, plus a bit of malts. It’s bubbly, sparkly, low carb, hoppy… and heck, elegant. Drink with an open mind and we’re sure you’ll love this extra pale wonder.

Bright: Tangerine Sparkling Ale
Dry. Tangerine. Effervescent. These words don’t really pop in your head when you think of beer, but then again, there’s nothing quite like Bright Tangerine Sparkling Ale. This brew is low calorie, gluten removed, with a dry and bubbly finish. The kicker is we load it up with heaps of natural tangerine flavor, making it a little brighter than your average ale!

Pear Lager
Don’t be fooled — Pear Lager is a lager first and foremost with subtle hints of pear. We add pear during fermentation for a delicate flavor and aroma. It’s gold, light to medium in body and, like all our lagers, takes five full weeks to make. It’s crisp and clean lager taste comes from five pale malts and a touch of Columbus hops. And oh yeah, pears.

Trail Angel
Trail angels are folks who offer Appalachian Trail hikers trail magic, or unexpected acts of kindness, like sharing food or giving them a lift. Well, Trail Angel Weiss is that in beer form. We partnered with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and donate $1 per case sold of Trail Angel Weiss to help preserve and protect the trail. The beer itself is honey colored with a light to medium body, soft palette from malted wheat, plus hints of banana and clove. It’s the style of beer that inspired us to open this very place.

Hibiscus Lemonade
There are a lot of fruited malt beverages out there, but not many are craft. Hibiscus Hard Lemonade changes that. The lemon taste comes from…lemons. Specifically, Meyer lemon juice and lemon zest. Plus, we crafted it up a notch with Lemondrop hops, Belgian candy sugar, and hibiscus — a popular herbal tea. Oh, and it’s low calorie and gluten free. Win win.
