Tasting Notes:

  • Gerard Bertrand Blanc De Limoux Thomas Jefferson Brut Blanc
    • A beautiful golden yellow with a complex, aromatic nose revealing hints of white flower, with hints of honey, green apple and toast. Crisp, elegant structure on the palate, where the fine texture of the bubbles complements the wine naturally.
  • Domain de Pajot Côtes de Gascogne Les 4 Cépages 2018
    • Pale yellow, almost colourless, the four grape varieties beautifully blend together to create an aromatically stunning wine of citrus and exotic fruit with hints of boxwood. The palate is refreshing with an aromatic persistence.
  • Julia James Chardonnay
    • Ripe lemon in color, this Chardonnay has golden highlights in the glass. Offers a mix of fresh pear, apple, melon and citrus on the nose. There is a bright, juicy, almost racy personality to go with exotic flavors of tropical fruits, vanilla, nectarine, and a kiss of oak. Continuing to open up nicely in the glass, it has a creamy mid-palate and a round, buttery finish which lingers on the palate. Julia James Chardonnay should be enjoyed on all occasions, especially with salads, roasted chicken, and lightly sauced pasta dishes.
  • Anciano Tempranillo Classico
    • Bright, ruby red with fresh, fruit notes and subtle hints of spice. Broad and silky smooth with lively cherry and plum fruit flavors, laced with gentle vanilla notes. Medium bodied and balanced with soft tannins on the finish. An obvious pairing for tapas, it is equally good with Mexican foods such as tacos and burritos. Enjoy with lasagna, pizza and vegetarian dishes with tomato sauces.
  • Peirano Estate Vineyards Illusion Red Blend 2017
    • The wine exhibits a rich deep burgundy hue with a perfect clarity. The aromas are a compendium of opulent chocolate and cocoa, with black currants and plums. The palate explodes with rich mouthfilling blackberries, black currants, plums and dark fruit. The long, seductive finish is filled with hints of black licorice and has firm, round, yet supple mouthfilling tannins.
  • R.L. Buller Premium Fine Tokay
    • Color/appearance Amber with orange tints. Bright; Aroma/bouquet Aromatic with toffee and malt aromas. Palate Smooth textured with toffee and caramel sweetness balanced by a touch of rancio. Complex hints of nuttiness and some cold tea characters. Good length and weight. Long nutty aftertaste.
  • Szigeti Grüner Veltliner Brut
    • Crisp and fresh with delighting aromas of apples and typical white pepper spice. Dry and highly refreshing with a pleasantly lemony aftertaste. Ideal aperitif, with summer salads or chicken breast salad.
  • The Curator White Blend
    • The Chenin Blanc grape makes up the largest portion of this blend because it is the backbone and structure of this particular wine. The Chardonnay from our old vineyrards was naturally fermented and took very long to complete the fermentation – resulting in great texture and wacky aromas of dried peaches and apricots and ripe citrus.
  • Cooper Hill Pinot Gris
    • Made with organic and biodynamic grapes the wine is bright & aromatic. This crisp Pinot Gris is loaded with pear, melon & peach that explode on the palate. Pairs beautifully with fish, clams, mussels, shrimp, vegetables & more.
  • Terranoble Cabernet Sauvignon
    • This Cabernet Sauvignon offers an intense and deep color and nice aromas such a red fruit, pepper and tobacco. It has smooth tannins, very freshness and fruity, which gives the wine a good balance. Pair with barbecued beef ribs, grilled sea bass, or spaghetti alla Bolognese.
  • Pike Road Wines Pinot Noir 2016
    • All the fruit for Pike Road Pinot Noir is hand-picked and hand sorted then fermented in small open-top stainless steel tanks. The wine is barrel aged in 100% French oak barrels for 10 months. Pike Road sources the best grapes and then takes a gentle approach to preserve the inherent qualities of the fruit.
  • Yalumba Antique Tawny
    • Amber tawny in color with an olive green hue, exhibiting aromas of rich toffee and caramels, sweet figs, chocolate, caramel and licorice spices with elegant brandy spirit and hints of nutty wood aged complexity. The palate is richly flavored featuring caramel crème brûlée with fine spirit characters and lingering flavors of dried fruits and nuts. The texture is sweet and smooth with roundness from the wood maturation and brandy spirit filling out the middle palate, providing the firm, drying finish. This is an outstanding dessert wine. Serve with stilton or hard cheddar; baked figs and pistachio ice cream; or ginger flavored pudding.
