“Inspired by her love of entertaining and a flair for gift giving, Megan Dalbey founded Dishique Boutique in 2011 as a way to share her passion with the world. Megan believes strongly in thoughtful and personal gifts, known amongst friends and family for her creatively crafted and unique presents. A true Alabama girl, Megan’s Southern upbringing and keen eye for design lends itself easily to creating one of a kind dinnerware and gifts you’ll be excited to share with your nearest and dearest. From cheeky to charming, each item is designed by Megan herself and lovingly handcrafted and shipped from Dishique’s Chicago studio. Don’t worry, ever practical yet stylish, each of Dishique’s custom products are dishwasher and microwave safe!
Megan embodies Southern charm and hospitality. Raised in Alabama, Megan honed her skills and went on to receive her degree in Furnishing and Interiors from the University of Georgia. Megan spent over 10 years as a product designer developing luxury bedding and soft home goods where she developed a knack for pairing textures, colors and patterns with classic design for a truly modern style. Though she now calls Chicago home, Megan was thrilled to be commissioned by the Governor of Kentucky to design personal gifts that were distributed at the Kentucky Derby - an event she’s often attended!”
